VAT and International Orders
All our prices are inclusive of VAT, which is chargeable in all European Community countries. The UK VAT rate (currently 20%) may differ from other EU regions. However, if you are a customer from outside the EU, you do not pay VAT and when you place your order you will see the price in the check out will change to a lower amount when you have entered the delivery address as the system then recognises you are outside the EU and deducts the 20% VAT.There may be taxes payable in your own territory, which may be charged when the order arrives in your country and we have no control over this. If you want to know what this is likely to be before you order we suggest that you contact your local Customs Authority for further information.Import Duty and Sales Tax charged by your country
Depending on the specific country, some Customs offices charge tax on certain types of imported products at certain item quantities and values. Customs offices in other countries may not adopt this practice for certain items. You are responsible for finding out the situation in your own country.Whatever goods you order from from us, we will ship to you. We will not enforce any rules so it is up to you to make sure that what you are purchasing from us is acceptable to be imported into your country. The category and type of goods you are importing often has an effect on whether you have to pay tax, or how much.
Obviously, certain categories of dangerous or restricted goods are illegal to import in most countries. Other specific restrictions may also apply in your country. Please carefully research the relevant information for your local country.
Many countries charge two kinds of tax when you import from overseas: sales tax (VAT) and import duty. Generally, these two taxes are not very high and the payable amount of tax is based on the value of the goods (and occasionally the shipping).
